Internal Systems and Support Specialist
Job Purpose
-
To provide a high quality, professional and responsive support service to approximately 50 employees both in-house and remote
-
To maintain all internal IS and backend systems
-
Responsible for managing projects both internal and external
-
Support employees by providing appropriate training and instruction when necessary
-
Manage relationships with external vendors
Tasks and Responsibilities
-
Manage communication systems throughout the business including IP phone, network hardware and PCs
-
Provide technical support and maintenance on all in-house systems for employees running XP, Vista, Windows 7, Office and other desktop applications
-
Manage backend systemsthat includes a WIndows Server, Exchange Server and network drives
-
Inventory control for all IS inventory
-
Work with internal and external teams in maintaining and acting as primary liaison for inventory/accounting software (FACTS)
-
Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers for network and phone services
-
Provide external customers with technical support on several IP phone/video platforms
-
Implementation, research, development and support of corporate BYOD initiatives
Technical Skills Required
-
Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server
-
Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows
-
Detailed knowledge of Network and TCPIP
-
Detailed knowledge of Firewalls
-
Understanding of Inventory/Accounting program (FACTS)
